Description

The Job

  • Act as the link between the data scientists and business to understand the business problem and solution the same through data analytics
  • Engage in the business functions to identify and priorities projects in which data science could be beneficial
  • Ensure analysing and interpreting results using statistical tools and techniques, whilst pinpointing trends and patterns in data sets
  • Identify new opportunities for process improvement, provide data reports for management decision making
  • Present the findings and actionable intelligence to stakeholders and senior management through data visualization tools
  • Define activities, strategic direction, scope, and timelines on data science projects whilst evaluating business process integration options, offer design, prescriptive analysis for successful business deployment
  • Manage operational report requests via Tableau/Safe Harbor and identify the project backlog and backlog grooming
  • Derive insights using data sources and data pipelines by appraising telco data to solve complex problems of the division
  • Development of Near Real Time dash board and implement Segment of One granularity for the business
  • Provide Analytical Support for Growth Hacking Programs (Model Based & Rule Based), and define performance tracking metrices for Growth Hacking
  • Research on industry best practices and work with internal / external parties on R&D tasks
  • Become the pioneer in the industry & subject matter expert in relevant domains 
Entry Requirements

The Person

  • 3 Years Analytics Experience in Telco industry
  • Degree in Business, Telecommunications and quantitative modelling/statistics
  • A professional qualification in CIMA/ACCA
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpretation and conceptual competencies
  • Well-versed with key strategic areas in the telecom industry, such as marketing, Go-to-Market (GTM), customer experience, base management, usage stimulation, retention, customer lifecycle management campaign management platforms & sales
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications industry & mobile technologies is a must
  • Solid knowledge of and experience with Agile software development or Sprint Design
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills
