Description

The selected candidate is a member of the enterprise program management office (EPMO). The candidate exclusively works with the Product and Service Innovation(PSI) team on the projects related to Innovation and R &D tracks. Thus having a matrix reporting structure reporting both Head of EMPO and Head of PSI for project assignments.

 PSI -structured set of innovation programs which are termed NPD. The role is responsible for program management of Innovation and New Product Development (NPD) tracks. The role is expected to be the agile champion of the team shepherding and improving the agile delivery practices to ensure we remain competitive and always improve in achieving divisional goals and objectives. The nature of projects falls into both Scrum and Kanban methods. Also, responsible for leading and managing various partner resources working hand in hand with us to innovate.

  • Implementing the project/project track, compiling the project scope, goals and deliverables; define project OKRs as well as  efficient process to ensure NPD and Innovation activities are delivered in time while managing resource constrains
  • Advising divisional management with strategic and tactical input while providing direction/support to project team and ensure quality assurance
  • Assessing key issues pertaining to programs/projects and timely escalates to project sponsor/EPMO management/senior management to resolve the issues with minimum business impact.
  • Managing project changes and liaising with other project/program teams to ensure end to end smooth deliverables while managing inter-dependencies, monitoring program outcomes to ensure the improvement of  divisional agile maturity
  • Managing the issues proactively ,assessing the issues/risks to facilitate accurate decision making and reporting risks and their mitigation action(s) to update the status of same to stakeholders
  • Managing the program management activities and the delivery of innovation/R&D funnel process, strategic projects tagged under annual business plan, coordinating with all relevant stakeholders
  • Providing leadership to drive innovation by engaging with internal / external stakeholders & developer community, creating a conducive environment to support rapid prototype development
  • Circulating accurate Program/Project updates to all key stakeholders/Project team on a periodic basis and performing  the root cause analysis, risk and issue analysis on deliveries impacting the critical path of the project
  • Providing project engagement details, all the significant project changes to the EPMO governance on routine basis and reporting the outcome of the project/s and programs to the EPMO governance
  • Managing all stakeholder groups and acting as the immediate supervisor for outsourced resource, expected to layout onboarding/performance evaluation criterion while handling HR related concerns of the outsource resources by liaising with respective vendors and internal parties
  • Responsible for managing interns whilst providing industry best in class industrial training experience to the trainees and exercising budgetary control during outsource resource engagements
Entry Requirements
  • Possess a BSc in Electronic /Telecommunication Engineering/ Computer Science / IT
  • Being qualifies in CIMA, MBA, PMP or any other professional qualifications will be an added advantage
  • 5 years of experience in the relevant field
  • Strong communication skills
