Description
  • Responsible to develop group’s quarterly risk update as recommended best practices, to ensure that key risks affecting the organization are managed and duly reported as per compliance requirements.
  • Prioritize risks which require the attention of the Board Risk Management Committee and Risk and Compliance Management Committee, to ensure that key risks are given due attention, responsibility, and mitigation.
  • Develop and implement the company's ERM framework, policies, and procedures inline wuth the Axiata guidelines and international best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the organization's operations.
  • Develop risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standard.
  • Drive as a centre of excellence to impart risk management methodologies, to manage/ mitigate complex risk issues within the group.
  • Ensure overall organizational maturity is embedded through the creation of risk awareness, to achieve an admired risk focused.
  • Develop and test group’s business continuity plan, to ensure that the organization has sufficient resilience to effectively respond to a crisis/ disaster.
  • Enable the Senior Management team to make insurance procurement decisions, to finance insurable risks by virtue of expert technical evaluations of insurance contractual terms and conditions with guidance from external consultants.
Entry Requirements
  • Possess Degree from a recognised University or a relevant professional qualification.  
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, teamworking and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and interest to learn emerging trends in business risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a computerized environment with the use of MS-Office applications.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in in a similar capacity
