Description
- Managing Daily Data Extracting function, transforming according to the business logics, and load to relevant target databases. This process should be handled with high Accuracy. Monitoring of this process need to maintain with agreed SLAs with BUs by providing on time data availability.
- Troubleshooting and recovering on Daily ETLs and provide root cause analysis. Daily Revenue assurance activities on BI.
- Coordinates with source owners and business owners for resolving issues and escalate/liaise with relevant venders/partners for technical support.
- Suggesting new technologies and tools to optimize the Extract, transform, Loading operations.
- ETL (Extracting Transforming and loading) design and implementation on new source system integrations, should have to make proper and accurate dimensional model by studying end user analysis/report requirements.
- Maintain Detail level records on Hadoop eco system and maintain summaries on Data warehouse.
- Periodical application patch upgrade
- Coordinate with OS Team to get relevant os upgrades
- System maintenance, time to time VA scans, , storage management and security risk management/assessments , on all BI systems.
- Should have to responsible on up and running (availability) status on all BI and ETL( Extracting Transforming and loading ) Layer.
- Cloud platform security maintenance (In terms of data security, role based access control
- Research on industry best practices and work with internal / external parties on RnD tasks
- Audit Documents Preparation & Maintenance to be aligned with ISMS(information security management system ) standards
Entry Requirements
- Should possess a BSC Degree on Computer Engineering / IT
- Analytical knowledge
- Database knowledge with RDBMS,NoSQL and Big data related technologies .
- 2 years’ experience in ETL tools and developing pipelines through either Scala/Java/Python or opensource tools.
- Working knowledge in relational databases and data-warehouses
- Knowledge on Data Quality and other Data Management concepts. Experience in Data Management tools will be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of SQL with SQL scripting (PL SQL ,T SQL)
- Linux Shell Scripting / familiar with Linux Environment.
- Experience with ETL tools (OWB Informatica )
- Hadoop with impala and Hive experience.
- Experience with BI tools (QLIK/OBIEE/SSRS/Power BI/ tableau) will be an advantage.
- Knowledge on database clustering technologies will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 - 4 Years of experience in relevant field
