Job Purpose 

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate DevOps Lead with a strong background in telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, and automation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with development and business teams to understand application requirements and design robust deployment strategies for cloud environments as well as implementing solutions in Core Charging/Billing platform with platform capabilities. You will be responsible for setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines, implementing cloud best practices, and ensuring efficient multi-cloud resource provisioning. Your expertise in scripting (PHP, Shell, Bash, Python) will be critical in automating processes and optimizing system performance while maintaining security and compliance standards. 

The Job 

• Lead the end to end feasibility check and new products and services launched by Dialog with Charging aspects 

• Management of Tariff and Product implementation for all the relevant BU requirements with agreed SLAs and organizational targets to achieve revenue growth, customer acquisition, competitor advantage, better customer experience 

• Coordinate with core network experts for telco related solutions and feasibility evaluations 

• Management of the product launch lifecycle to make sure approvals, documentation, security aspects and PLA and other pre-launch aspects are covered properly for audit purposes. 

• Also Lead the new system implementations considering the aspects of implementation and long term operationalization 

• Lead and manage OCS/core rating and charging system related projects to define the scope and architecture, project resourcing, execution and on time delivery with minimum impact to the business 

• Make sure optimum blueprint is implemented by replacing/upgrading and introducing modules 

• Assignment and management of peripheral applications and their proper monitoring integration with the monitoring tools 

• Adapting new technologies according to the BP of the company to optimize the time and resource utilization such as RPA, AI, Cloud and Containerization.  

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Docker-Compose, and Kubernetes. 

• Optimize application architectures for scalability, availability, and cost efficiency in cloud environments. 

• Participate in the design and automation of cloud deployment architecture and CI/CD workflows for microservices. 

• Conduct network troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, routing, and network topology analysis. 

• Define and document cloud solution architectures, creating detailed technical designs and diagrams. 

• Evaluate to adapt new technologies when developing support applications to overcome existing issues such as scaling/service downtimes/easy management 

• Ensure compliance with security best practices, access controls, and cloud governance policies. 

• Implement monitoring and alerting tools to proactively track system performance and availability. 

• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and coordinate training programs to upskill team members.

The Person 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or equivalent. 

• Experience in telco eco-system is highly favorable 

• Proper understanding of telco signaling would be an added advantage 

• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience. 

• Professional certification in Cloud (AWS preferred) and Kubernetes would be an added advantage. 

• Effective communication and system analytical skills. 

• Proper understanding of Rest/Soap APIs 

• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies. 

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go). 

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines, including Jenkins, GitOps, and Argo CD. 

• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, including system administration and troubleshooting. 

• Experience in distributed cloud-based environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP. 

• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. 

• Experience in setting up monitoring/alerting platforms and DevOps-related technologies.
