About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Access Network Operations team to support 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G (Huawei/Ericsson) operations island-wide. The role ensures uninterrupted network performance through proactive maintenance, efficient incident resolution, and continuous optimisation aligned with KPIs, SLAs and OLAs. You will play a key role in minimising outages, improving network quality, and supporting strategic network enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily network operations including monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration and fault rectification to minimise downtime.
• Support maintenance activities by arranging required tools/systems access and coordinating vendor escalations.
• Analyse network performance, conduct routine audits, and perform preventive actions to maintain healthy radio network quality.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for network rollouts, integrations, system modifications and capacity upgrades.
• Support implementation of redundancy planning, backup processes, system health checks and spare parts management.
• Prepare periodic reports on network utilisation to support management decision making.
• Assist in testing and validating new network features, services or functionalities prior to deployment.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• B.Sc. in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronics or Computer Engineering from a Sri Lankan university accredited by IESL, or
• B.Sc. Engineering degree from a recognised foreign university (accredited locally), or
• B.Tech/AMIE (SL)

• Understanding of GSM, WCDMA, LTE and OFDMA technologies.
• Experience or exposure to Huawei/Ericsson Radio Access equipment, OSS and network configuration tools.
• Knowledge in networking/security concepts.
• Knowledge in database handling, web interface development and basic programming will be an added advantage.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with B.Tech/AMIE should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant field.
