Job Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic Senior DevOps Engineer to lead new system implementations while ensuring long-term operational sustainability. The role requires close coordination with multiple business units to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure charging and core system solutions that support evolving business needs.
The Job
- Lead end-to-end feasibility assessments for new products and services launched with charging capabilities.
- Manage tariff and product implementations for business units within agreed SLAs to support revenue growth, customer acquisition, and improved customer experience.
- Oversee the product launch lifecycle ensuring approvals, documentation, security, and pre-launch audit requirements are completed.
- Lead new system implementations while ensuring long-term operational stability.
- Ensure all products comply with group security policies and guidelines.
- Provide strategic input on OCS and related charging systems for business and non-business projects.
- Lead and manage charging system and core rating projects including scope definition, architecture, resourcing, execution, and delivery.
- Implement system modernization initiatives and maintain an optimized IT blueprint.
- Manage and monitor peripheral applications and introduce scripts to improve monitoring and minimize service interruptions.
- Handle high-priority implementations and urgent service restorations during disaster situations with minimal business impact.
- Coordinate with vendors for system issues, patches, and change requests while ensuring zero disruption to ongoing operations.
- Support core initiatives such as OCS upgrades, VoMS/Ez upgrades, and new system implementations aligned with modern telecom and IT trends.
- Ensure operational excellence by resolving day-to-day system or customer issues and implementing preventive measures.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and coordinate training programs to enhance skills and capabilities.
- Identify and adopt emerging technologies such as AI, RPA, Cloud, and Containerization to optimize resources and improve efficiency.
- Continuously enhance system architecture to achieve high availability targets and improved scalability.
