We are looking for an exceptional Associate Lead – Data Scientist to drive end-to-end AI/ML solution development, mentor a dynamic team, and deliver impactful insights across the Group.

The Job:

• Drive analytics initiatives that contribute to revenue growth, cost reduction, and EBITDA targets.
• Lead the full lifecycle of AI solutions including planning, architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Present analytical insights and actionable intelligence to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide Data Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure timely, end-to-end delivery of models.
• Handle resource onboarding, team management, and capability development.
• Design and develop scalable AI/ML model architectures.
• Build statistical, supervised, and unsupervised ML models using R/Python for POCs and production-level deployment.
• Work closely with AI application development teams to ensure efficient solution delivery.
• Integrate AI/ML models with downstream systems and ensure scalability.
• Continuously monitor, refine, and optimize model performance using feedback loops.
• Research emerging technologies and industry best practices to support innovation.
• Lead and contribute to internal and external R&D initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new tools, technologies, and methodologies in AI/ML.

The Person:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / IT specializing in Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Hands-on experience in R/Python or equivalent tools.
• Data visualization and communication expertise.
• Experience in data engineering across data warehouse, big data, or cloud environments.
• Continuous learner with a passion for innovation.

• Minimum 4+ years in Data Science.
• Score of 70%+ in Data Scientist Entry Exam (for external hires).
• AFF Data Science (Basic) certification is an added advantage.
