Job Purpose: 

Held responsible for designing and maintenance of civil structures in Infrastructure Planning & Development division of DAP for ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of overall group technical projects/programs. Further providing technical guidance to all Civil technology related procurements and ensure proper financial treatment with effective utilization of budgets. Further, development of business partnerships with local and foreign business partners in order to increase the business efficiencies.

The Job:

• Ensure civil infrastructure stability of existing structures of the network all the time.
• Timely attending to routine site visit, periodic and issue-based maintenance.
• MTU maintenance planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Proposing new technologies, designs, materials etc that can help/ ensure the improvement of maintenance efficiencies.
• Provide technical based solutions for special to meet the required structural life, expected budget, timeline targets together with the planned outcome.
• Ensure the quality longevity of the established maintenance activity as per the SOW of the project.
• Meet the projects PO & GR target as per the agreement made with the finance team.
• Technical guidance for contract management, budget, and PO renewal & follow up.
• Material management with regards to the net additions, removals, and proper inventory closure as per governance guidelines.
• Ensure the conditions and quantity of removed materials and segregate it as reusable and scrap.
• Verify new site Tower, foundation, and other infrastructure designs.
• Provide innovative and economical based technical solutions for the civil infrastructure development and upgrade.
• Ensure the tower loading, feedback continually with the upgrades, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to avoid any risk.
• Ensure the tower structural conditions based on the varies design factors to avoid the tower fallen risk, and to improve the network sustainability.
• Provide relevant data and technical solutions for TRC submissions.
• Providing cost efficient designs and solutions for the requirements raised by the Core site team.
• Gathering price proposals from vendors and evaluating them.
• Keep proper records with regards to the excess materials and reusage.

The Person:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience related to telecommunication infrastructure development areas.
• Knowledge pertaining to steel infrastructure development, project management, civil infrastructure designing & civil structure related areas are important.
