Job Purpose:

The Lead - Systems & Solutions will be responsible for spearheading new system implementations with a focus on sustainable and detailed execution, ensuring long-term operational success. This role involves managing a team and coordinating with stakeholders to address new business requirements. The individual will represent the charging domain in strategic initiatives, supporting the feasibility and conclusion of solutions. Additionally, the Lead will oversee high-priority module implementations and urgent service deployments during disaster situations, ensuring swift and optimal outcomes for the business. The role also includes managing fixes and immediate solutions for daily customer/system issues and peripheral application problems, proactively preventing recurrence. The Lead will drive system modernization efforts, maintain the optimal IT blueprint, and collaborate with vendors to address C1 system issues, implementing patches and CRs with zero business impact. Furthermore, the individual will support Dialog Core and new system implementations, leveraging the latest trends in telecommunications and IT to enhance business operations. Ensuring BSS ecosystem security and governance to maintain a secure IT environment is also a key responsibility.

The Job:

  • Lead the end-to-end feasibility check and new products and services launched by Dialog with charging aspects.
  • Manage tariff and product implementation for all relevant BU requirements with agreed SLAs and organizational targets to achieve revenue growth, customer acquisition, competitor advantage, and better customer experience.
  • Manage the product launch lifecycle to ensure approvals, documentation, security aspects, PLA, and other pre-launch aspects are covered properly for audit purposes.
  • Lead new system implementations considering the aspects of implementation and long-term operationalization.
  • Manage the security aspect of all products in line with group security guidelines.
  • Provide strategic feedback on charging systems and processes for strategic projects.
  • Lead and manage core rating and charging system-related projects to define the scope and architecture, project resourcing, execution, and on-time delivery with minimum impact on the business.
  • Lead and manage projects under charging systems for quality and timely delivery.
  • Ensure optimum blueprint is implemented by replacing/upgrading and introducing modules.
  • Assign and manage peripheral applications and their proper monitoring.
  • Manage new script development for monitoring in alignment with new service launches to minimize future service interruptions.
  • Act on issues that arise on demand to solve them quickly.
  • Provide necessary consultancy through technical/management know-how for other units to improve operational excellence.
  • Arrange knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure all divisional members are up-to-date with systems, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with HR and relevant entities to arrange necessary training for staff to enhance knowledge and skill set.
  • Adapt new technologies according to the BP of the company to optimize time and resource utilization such as RPA, AI, Cloud, and Containerization.
  • Evaluate and adapt new technologies when developing support applications to overcome existing issues such as scaling/service downtimes/easy management.
  • Optimize the existing blueprint of Dialog to achieve 99.9999% uptime with the most suitable technology adaptations.
  • Assign resources for continuous operational improvement of such deployed setups.
Entry Requirements

The Person:

  • A related BSc Degree/BCS Professional Graduate Diploma/related Master’s Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of telecommunication technologies related to 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G.
  • Thorough understanding of charging systems and relevant concepts and technologies.
  • Knowledge of IT new trends and their applicability.
  • Knowledge of Dialog service blueprint and ecosystem covering network architecture, business strategies, and billing.
  • Business strategies.
  • Tariff/Rating/Quota implementation of Mobile/DTV/Fixed and Broadband streams and their configurations.
  • Sound knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Sound knowledge of current C1 systems in Dialog blueprint.
