Job Purpose

Are you passionate about building reliable, scalable, and secure digital platforms? We are looking for a Senior Engineer - DevOps to join our technology team and play a key role in ensuring the availability, performance, and continuous evolution of mission-critical fintech and digital service platforms.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive operational excellence, automation, security compliance, and continuous service improvement for large-scale digital ecosystems.

The Job

• Ensure end-to-end service availability, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence across digital platforms.
• Lead operational governance initiatives and establish best practices for service management and platform stability.
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of long-term preventive solutions.
• Design and implement monitoring, logging, and performance management frameworks.
• Lead and support CI/CD, deployment, release management, and environment provisioning activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, financial institutions, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliance and service quality.
• Champion process automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensure systems comply with security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity measures, and infrastructure resilience.
• Research and introduce emerging technologies and DevOps best practices to improve platform performance and operational effectiveness.

The Person

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technology operations roles.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, DevSecOps, production operations, reliability, and service management practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, containers, Linux/Open-Source environments, and production infrastructure.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, release processes, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of application architectures and software platforms, including microservices, REST APIs, Java-based applications such as Spring Boot, application deployment, configuration, runtime behavior, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with databases, caching platforms, messaging, and event-streaming technologies such as MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, performance analysis, incident management, root-cause analysis, high availability, resilience, backup, disaster recovery, security controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in fintech, digital payments, banking, telecommunications, or other highly regulated/high-availability environments, with the ability to work effectively across Development, QA, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
• Exposure to general-purpose LLMs, enterprise AI assistants, personalized AI agents, agentic AI solutions, RAG-based systems, or AI-assisted engineering and operational workflows would be an added advantage.
