We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer - Enterprise & Fixed Data Core DevOps to drive the operations, automation, optimization, and evolution of our enterprise and fixed data core platforms. This role is ideal for an experienced network and systems professional passionate about DevOps, automation, network reliability, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

As part of the Core Network Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of core enterprise data services and platforms.

The Job

Core Platform Operations & Service Assurance:

• Lead the operation and maintenance of enterprise and fixed data core platforms, including broadband, Wi-Fi, authentication, DNS, DHCP, SD-WAN, network security, and related systems.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and service quality across critical network services.
• Drive fault detection, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and service restoration activities.
• Implement proactive monitoring, predictive maintenance, and performance optimization initiatives.

DevOps & Automation:

• Design and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and service reliability.
• Develop tools and scripts using Python, PHP, JavaScript, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Support infrastructure automation, system integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enhance monitoring, analytics, and operational workflows through automation and DevOps best practices.

Platform Engineering & Service Delivery:

• Evaluate technical requirements and support solution design for enterprise customers.
• Prototype, test, and launch new services, products, and technology solutions.
• Manage enterprise service management, customer provisioning, and operational support platforms.
• Maintain and enhance device management platforms based on TR-069 and related technologies.
• Support onboarding and lifecycle management of broadband and wireless access devices, including LTE, 5G, and Fixed Wireless Access solutions.

Technology Innovation & Vendor Management:

• Evaluate software releases, platform upgrades, and emerging technologies.
• Lead implementation, testing, deployment, and migration activities.
• Work closely with vendors and technology partners to troubleshoot issues and introduce new capabilities.
• Contribute to technology roadmap initiatives and operational transformation projects.

Resilience & Security:

• Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities across platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, operational best practices, and governance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of platform resilience, reliability, and cybersecurity posture.

The Person

Applicants should possess one of the following:

• B.Sc. Engineering (Hons) Degree accredited by IESL; or
• Engineering degree from a recognized foreign university with AMIE (SL); or
• B.Tech Degree accredited by IESL with AMIE (SL); or
• NVQ Level 5 / IVQ Level 5 with AMIE (SL); or
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT (specializing in Data Science), Statistics with Computer Science, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

Experience & Technical Skills

Required Experience:

• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in Telecommunications, Networking, Systems Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related fields.
